Photography Contest Theme - Fall Colors

Hello everyone,

 Hope everyone had a great summer in Illinois and enjoyed it. Autumn is on the door and officially FALL started today. We have decided "Fall Color" as theme of our photography contest for our IBM India event 2010. I have posted couple of pics of last Fall in Illinois (these pics will not be considered for the contest). Please start sending your pictures capturing the kaleidoscopic nature of Fall.

The theme is – Kaleidoscopic colors of fall.

Some Rules of Photography contest


1) Organizers can not participate - Pijush and Pramit
2) The photo has to be taken by you only
3) Post processing is allowed - Photoshop/Picasa etc
4) The Photo can be a digital painting or picture of a painting done by you
5) Photos has to be sent before 16th October 2010
6) The winner will be decided by reputed jury and organizers  
7) There will be additional winner for the most popular photo - which will be decided by a poll in this blog, we will also consider the comments against the photograph
8) People, Cityscape, Houses, Nature can be a part of the shot along with the main theme

9) Please do not copy any photograph from Internet or any other sources. Keep it clean and sporting.

10) Send a Caption for your Photo - which will be the title of the post

First Meeting in Oak Brook - ACE

The first meeting took place at ACE hardware office in Oak Brook, IL on 21st September. The core team has been formed. As of now we have divide the responsibility to the existing  members.

·         Siva  –      Organize Cultural events

·         Sameer – Organize the Cultural event. Kraft communications

·         Pramit – Blog maintenance and Event Registration

·         Pijush – Primary Communication, Approvals, Blog, Event Photography, Guest

·         Sanjay – Food and snacks, Take Away gifts, Event gifts

IBM India Event - 2010 - Illinois

We are going to organize IBM India event in Illinois, Chicago area on 24th October Sunday. We are inviting all colleagues from Navistar, Walgreen, Kraft, Saralee, Ace, Abbott and all accounts of Illinois where we have GBS - GD landed resources. This is a family event and you are cordially invited with your family. Caterpillar will have seperate event in Peoria.

The basic objective is to have a corporate get-together with minimal business and mainly fun. To know each other from different account, spend good time with family and kids and enjoy the event.
